Reiki Class Schedule

Deborah Peters  is a  continuing  education Approved Provider by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB)  and offers continuing  education  credit for  :   Usui Reiki I is approved for 8.5 CE hours and Usui Reiki II is approved for 8.5 CE hours and Advanced Reiki Training is approved for 7.5 CE hours for massage therapies. 

Upon completion of the classes, licensed massage therapist and other participants will receive a certificate of completion awarding continuing education hours for massage therapist or a certificate of completion for other participants. To participate, all students need to register and pay Deborah Peters at Art Of Body Experience 336-347-7224 and provide mailing address to receive information prior to class. (Visa or Mastercard accepted) 

Usui Reiki I

Fee: $125.00

(must attend all days for certification)

Learn how to relieve stress and anxiety, restore balance to your energy centers, improve your vitality, find a deep sense of inner peace, serenity, and many other practical uses. Learn how to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. Learn the history, Origin and  techniques of Reiki. Obtain an introduction to Chakras. Receive class manual, attunement and certification. Each student will experience giving and receiving a complete treatment using Byosen scanning (detecting were Reiki is needed) and the Reiki hand placement position.

Usui Reiki II

Fee: $125.00 

(must attend all days for certification)

Must complete Usui Reiki I prior to taken this class. Usui Reiki II continues to enhance your Reiki techniques. Learn how to send Reiki with your eyes (Gyoshi ho) or breathe (Koki ho), Learn how to clear your energy field (Kenyoku), or objects (Jacki-kiri, Joka-ho) of negative energy. Learn the meanings and  how to draw, use, and activate the Reiki II symbols. Practice  includes, giving and receiving a complete treatment using Reiki II techniques. Receive attunement, additional handouts and certification.

Usui Reiki I and Usui Reiki II

(Two day course!)  Fee: $225.00

Time 8:30 am to 6:30 pm (one hour lunch break, local restaurants available)

Reiki I and Reiki II is an intensive and thorough training with a two day class combination of lecture, discussion and practice. Both attunements are given. A 192-page class manual and certification are included. Bring a pen, note pad and a desire to reconnect with your innate ability to heal yourself and aid others. Learn how to relieve stress and anxiety, restore balance to your energy centers, improve your vitality, find a deep sense of inner peace, serenity, and many other practical uses.  Learn how to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. Learn the history and Origin of Reiki. Learn hand placements for yourself and others. Introduction of Chakras using Reiki.  Each student will experience giving and receiving a complete treatment using Byosen scanning and the Reiki hand placement position. Practice time includes using Reiki II symbols, distant healing and all Japanese Reiki techniques, listed: Gassho – meditation, Reiji-ho – developing your intuition, Byosen Scanning – detecting where Reiki is needed, Gyoshi ho – sending Reiki with the eyes, Koki ho – using the breath to send Reiki, Kenyoku – dry bathing or clearing ones energy field, Jacki-kiri, Joka-ho – clearing objects of negative energy, Hayashi Healing Guide, Using Reiki for specific conditions, Reiki II symbols – meanings, draw, activate, usage. While practice takes place in class, you will need to continue to practice to gain experience to fully utilize the Reiki training. Enhance Nursing Practice with Reiki. With all the energies that a nurse has to give in caring for other, a nurse often suffers “burn out.” Reiki is an excellent way for nurses to take care of themselves and restore their energies.  Must attend all days to receive certification!

Advanced Reiki Training

Must show proof of completion Usui Reiki I & Usui Reiki II prior to taken this class.

Increase the strength of your Reiki energy with the Usui Master attunement. Learn how to use the Usui Master symbol. Learn Reiki Meditations. Learn how to make Reiki grids. Learn how crystals and stones are used for chakras with Reiki. Practice includes working with other students.
